It all started whenAhiru got sick.  One afternoon at the lake Fakir noticed that she was acting differently.
"Ahiru have you been feeling alright? You're not eating very much, you're tired all of the time, and you've been having difficulty breathing." Fakir asked
Ahiru quietly quacked in reply.
"Duck, I'm serious. You could really be sick."Fakir said.
She said nothing.
"Moron! You're sick and you won't even admit it!"

Fakir had spent the whole afternoon researching duck diseases  and sicknesses. Nearly all of them were deadly. After an hour of studying he found Ahiru probably had Avian Cholera. Tears welled in Fakir's eyes when he read that there was around 95% chance she wouldn't survive. Fakir couldn't tell Ahiru she was going to die. And there was a small chance she could survive. he couldn't tell her she would die. Fakir made up his mind just to tell her that she only had a small cold.Fakir packed up his bag and went home. When he got home he went upstairs to find Duck asleep in her basket bed. He would tell her the news in the morning

Fakir woke up with hopes that Ahiru would be awake as well, but she wasn't. Ever since she had gotten sick she had slept a lot. Fakir quietly got dressed for school and went downstairs for breakfast. He made himself some oatmeal. When he was almost done with his oatmeal Ahiru loudly quacked  down the stairs.
"Do you want some breakfast, Ahiru.?"Fakir asked.
She nodded her head sideways.
"Do you want some water?".
Ahiru nodded her head up and down.
Fakir got up, found  a bowl, and filled it with water. He set the bowl on the table and Ahiru flew up to the table. But she miscalculated where the table was by about a foot and fell on the table.
"I was researching in the library yesterday and I found out you just had a cold."Fakir lied "It will probably go away in a few days."
When Ahiru  finished drinking her water, Fakir cleared her bowl and left for school.

Fakir came home from school,he went upstairs to check on Ahiru. He knew she would be asleep. She only woke up every  now and then to eat and then she slept some more. Fakir lovingly petted Ahiru"s feathers, to his surprise her body was cold, and her chest wasn't moving up and down for breathing. Tears rolled down Fakir's face.
"No! Ahiru, you can't be gone!"Fakir cried.
A few minutes later Charon came up the stairs because he heard his son crying and yelling.
"What's wrong?"Charon asked a teary Fakir.
"It's Ahiru. She's dead."Fakir cried.
"Fakir, I'm so sorry."Charon comforted."
All of Fakir's life had been filled with loss. He lost his parents as a child and he had lost Mytho when he went back into the story, and now he had lost Ahiru, the only girl he loved with all his heart.
"I'm going out"Fakir said.
Fakir left the room and walked out of the house.

Meanwhile

Ahiru woke up lying on a bed of clouds. She crawled out of the bed and saw she had hands, not wings. She stood up and saw Drosselmeyer in front of her.
"Oh, Good. You're awake."Drosselmeyer said casually.
"Where am I?How I am I human?"Ahiru asked.
"You are in heaven and I turned you back to ask you a question."Drosselmeyer said.
"But if I'm in heaven wouldn't I be dead?"Ahiru said.
"Yes you are very much dead, and the prince's knight is terribly upset about it."Drosselmeyer said.
"What did you want to ask me?" Ahiru asked.
"Well because you died tragically I wanted to give you a reward. You can have any of these options: You can go back to Earth as a human, as a duck, or just stay in heaven."Drosselmeyer offered.
Ahiru thought about it for a moment. She wanted to be a girl again but would Fakir be mad at her for breaking her promise, would he be mad at her for being dead for an hour and then become a duck again, would he even care if she went to heaven and vanished? Was a mad Fakir worth her humanity?
"I'll go back to Earth as a human."Ahiru decided.
Drosselmeyer took a dark blue pendant out of his coat pocket. "Put that on. It will turn you into a girl. When you don't wear it you will be a duck."Drosselmeyer explained.
Ahiru took the necklace and clasped around her small neck.
"How did you make a second pendant. You're supposed to be dead."Ahiru questioned.
"When you gave Mytho the last heart shard the magic from it came back to me in the form of they pendant."

All the clouds around Ahiru disappeared and she was in Goldcrowne Town.  Even though it was snowing Drosselmeyer had given her a dress a lot like Princess Tutu's. It was white.strapless, knee-length,and poofy. Ahiru walked to Charon's house, she needed to find Fakir. She walked down a few streets and found the sign that read Schmeid.  She ran to that door and knocked. Charon answered the door.
"Is Fakir home?"Ahiru asked.
"He went on a walk. His pet duck just died."Charon said.
"Well,I'm sorry for bothering you and have a nice day."Ahiru said.
Charon closed  the door. Ahiru started walking toward the forest because the only places Fakir went were the lake, school, and home. She arrived in the forest.
"Fakir! Fakir!"she yelled.
Somewhere far off in the forest she heard someone yell back in reply.
"Ahiru! Is that you?" the voice yelled.
Ahiru ran toward the voice which she knew belonged to Fakir. She continued yelling his name and he yelled hers. Ahiru found herself in a forest clearing strewed with snow and bare trees. She ran past something that looked almost human, before she realized it was human and Fakir.
"I'm right here, moron."Fakir said.
Ahiru ran over to where he was standing and hugged Fakir, and he hugged her back.
They broke away from the hug.
"Ahiru,how are you here, you just died,and now you're a girl."Fakir asked
Ahiru looked at his face to get a better look. His eyes were all red like he he'd been crying.
"When I died Drosselmeyer gave me a choice. I could go back to Earth as a girl, as a duck, or go to heaven and vanish."Ahiru explained.
"It's getting late we should probably get going home."Fakir said.
After a few minutes of walking Fakir noticed that Ahiru was shivering. Of course, Drosselmeyer gave her a dress to wear in the middle of winter. Fakir took of his blue school uniform jacket.
"Put this on."Fakir said.
"But Fakir you'll get cold." Ahiru objected.
Not as cold as you will. I'm not wearing a dress."Fakir said.
Ahiru took his jacket and put it on.
"Fakir, Is something wrong."Ahiru asked.
"You didn't just have a cold, you had avian cholera. There was a small chance you would survive
I was just hoping on that small chance. So I lied to myself and I lied to you. You have every right to be mad at me."Fakir confessed.
"I'm not mad at you."Ahiru, said.
"You're not." Fakir was surprised.
"Yeah if you told me I was gonna die, when I was a duck I would have panicked. You did the right thing."Ahiru reassured.
"Are you sure I did the right thing?"Fakir asked.
"Yeah."Ahiru said.
They walked the rest of the way to Charon's house. Fakir knocked on the door and Charon answered the door, ands saw Fakir, and the girl who had knocked earlier today.
"Fakir who's your friend." Charon asked.
"She's my duck."Fakir said
"But! How!"Charon asked.
"It's a long story. I'll tell you in the morning."Fakir said.
Fakir and Ahiru walked up the stairs.
"You get Raetsel's old room."Fakir said to Ahiru.
They walked into the room right across the hall from Fakir's. Ahiru walked over to the bed took of Fakir's jacket and her shoes. She got under the covers.
"Fakir are you mad at me for breaking my promise?"Ahiru asked.
"No,"Fakir said.
"Why?"Ahiru asked
"I would rather have you break your promise than be gone forever."Fakir said.

The next morning Ahiru went downstairs for breakfast Fakir was finishing up telling Charon Ahiru's story.
"Good morning."Ahiru greeted.
"Today's my birthday, Ahiru."Fakir said.
"It's your birthday."Ahiru said.
"Yeah, and you're the best present I ever got."Fakir said.
I'M SOOOOOOOOOO SOOOOOOOORRRYY I KILLLLLLEDD AHIRU. THERE WAS NO OTHER WAY THE STORY COULD WORK.

But like I said I'm sorry I killed Ahiru. She did nothing to deserve it. Fakir was a jerk in the beginning so wouldn't be as sorry if i killed him but yeah. This is the longest and worstly written of all my prompts. This story kept going one in my head while i was visiting family and couldn't write it down ii almost died not being able to write it.

If you guys want it I wrote the story from when Ahiru left Charon's hues thorough Fakir's pint of View.

Fakir lay on the dock at the lake he had visited so many times with Ahiru. Long hard sobs kept coming with no stop. Tears rolled down his face so much he was almost afraid he would raise the level of the lake. He heard a voice yelling far in the forest, he didn't understand what she was saying. What moron would be in the forest this late in the day. The voice got louder
and almost started to sound like someone was calling his name. The voice got closer and it sounded familiar, he knew that voice but he couldn't remember who it belonged to. An image of a blue eyed, freckled, red-haired girl flashed before his eyes, and he knew the voice was Ahiru's. He stood up and started calling her name. They both ran throughout the forest in search of someone until that ad found each other.

Sp yeah i know the whole tinhgs is terribly written. Excuse my english and mistakes.
